What exactly is StatsSheet?

Answer: StatsSheet is a free Web site traffic statistics service that provides access to various tools and informative articles. You simply insert a few simple lines of code into the pages you would like to track statistics for, and in return you'll get a detailed breakdown of all of your website's traffic patterns. In addition, StatsSheet also provides a useful search engine submission tool and articles, including many articles on Web site marketing, promotion, and traffic analysis, among many other topics.

How do I insert the counter code into my Web site? (Popular)

Answer: To insert the counter code into your site and begin tracking your stats, log into StatsSheet.com, click the Get Counter Code link, select the counter style you would like to use, and then copy and paste that code into the pages of your Web site. The counter code can be pasted anywhere within the HTML Body Tags tags. After you save the pages with the new counter code you just inserted, then upload the pages to your Web host's server. StatsSheet.com will automatically begin tracking your hits after that has been done.

Are there any limits to the statistics that are collected?

Answer: Unfortunately we cannot offer unlimited detailed statistics due to restrictions on resources, therefore we have an introductory limit of 1,000 detailed statistics per week (visitor IP, browser, operating system, browser resolution, referring URLs, country, etc.). However, Statssheet will record a count of basic statistics (hits, unique visitors, and page views) indefinitely.

What do the limits mean?

Answer: This means that the system will track up 1,000 visits in detail for 7 days. However, StatsSheet will still record the basic statistics (raw hits, unique visitors, and page views) as long as you use the service. To further explain, you can view statistics such as visitor IP, browser, operating system, browser resolution, referring URLs, country, etc. in detail for up to 1,000 visitors from the last 7 days. Broader statistics such as hits, unique visitors, and page views per day will be counted indefinitely.

Does StatsSheet track all the referrals from search engines?

Answer: Yes, StatsSheet will give you a detailed breakdown of every search engine that sent a referral to your site, along with the keywords used to find your site.

Can StatsSheet show me all the visitors who are browsing my site in real time?

Answer: Yes, StatsSheet will allow you to see all the current visitors on your site. These are the visitors who are currently browsing your website. You'll be able to know which country they are from, their ip address, the page the visitor is currently browsing along with other information.
