It doesn't take very long for weight gain to sneak up on you, which is pretty depressing. One moment you are slim and ripped, and the next moment you have put on 30 pounds and are looking Jabba the Hut. If this is a situation that you find your self in you'll want the find the best way to lose weight. This is easier said than done.
Now, everyone knows how to lose weight. You eat less and move more. But how much and what do you eat? That is the question. We have all heard of the weight loss pills and shakes that promise rapid weight loss, but do they really work? Although I only have limited experience, I will try to answer these questions for you.
I did lose some weight with diet and exercise alone, but not as quickly as I would have liked. But, to be honest, I did start a little late in the season, which meant I didn't look as thin as I wanted by the time summer came around. Diet and exercise is the best way to keep the weight off though.
Maybe you are just about to go on vacation and want a sculpted body for the beach. Maybe you're just getting involved in a relationship, and are a little bit embarrassed about your body. Whatever your situation, losing those extra pounds can do a lot to improve your confidence.
I was susprised to hear some of the myths surrounding cardiovascular exercise. It isn't the best way to lose bodyfat, apparently. Not by itself anyway. Combining it with muscle building exercises is a far better way to lose more weight and keep it off.
Another myth is that the diet pills don't work. Again if they are used in confunction with diet and exercise they can help, even the caffeine pills.
In every case it is a good idea to do you research. There are many pills and shake that work, but to be safe, stick to the leading brands. Once you find the right combination for you you'll be well on you way to a slimmer you.
