The college years can take us all by surprise. Suddenly we experience freedom in its most pure form. The kind without parents. This new-found freedom can even cause us to lose sight of our goals at times. We DON’T want this to happen. Before you know it, you could be kicked out of school, because of a terrible academic record. And you know what this would mean; no spring break Cabo San Lucas getaway for you. Those buddies you once had in college will ditch you quickly when they realize you failed. This is why you have to keep that head on straight. Get the good grades and enjoy the college perks as well. It’s worth it!
One thing that most college graduates miss after achieving their degree is spring break fun. We can’t help it. Those times of spring break Cabo San Lucas are not such a distant memory. In fact, I have a pretty solid theory about graduate students. They’re not really back for their master’s degree. They’re simply hoping to indulge in a little spring break Cabo San Lucas fun. So, am I on to something here or what? Now, one may wonder why Mexico. Yeah, like this is a difficult one to figure out. College kids choose the famous spring break Cabo San Lucas adventure, because it’s far away from it all. They figure it’s a place with plenty of sun, oodles of fun, and no drinking age. It’s the ultimate getaway, and the parents are far away.
Wow, now that I think about it, I’m going to have to ban the spring break Cabo San Lucas trips. After all, I have a daughter of my own. The last thing she needs is a week in the Mexican sun with a bunch of idiotic college boys. Which brings me to my final point. Although a spring break Cabo San Lucas getaway can sound ideal and perfect for taking a break from school, it can also be dangerous. It’s imperative to know where you’re going at all times. No one else will be there to look out for you. Don’t trust that your friends will. They’ll be too busy partying. It’s crucial that you take care of yourself, and steer clear of shady areas. And never forget to keep your hands on your beverage at all times. Anything can go in it if it’s not being monitored. Get the picture?
