Plastic Vases
I have lost many great vases through the years because of many different things. One is my child. I can’t blame her, though I guess I could blame myself for not realizing that anything that sparkles is going to be something she would want to explore at a younger age. I have lost some to my pets, as they go wherever they please, and they often rub against things. If those things are not secured, they are going to hit the ground. Then, of course, I have my own problems with being clumsy that I have to deal with. I do have many glass items at home, but I also have some plastic vases too.
I never really thought about plastic vases until it was obvious that something had to change. I love the look of glass, and I never thought that vases made with plastic could look at good as crystal or glass. When I started looking around I was very surprised at how nice they looked, and at the huge variety there was from which to choose. Many of them come in shapes and colors that you may not find when shopping for glass and crystal vases. Plastic is much easier to work with than glass, and perhaps that is why the variety is so large.
I have found that plastic vases are much more whimsical than your classic glass vases are for the most part. Though there is nothing that touches the beauty of glass or crystal, you will love vases made of plastic when you have a more casual and fun type of d?cor. They are also great for children’s rooms too. You may not want to have live flowers in your kid’s rooms, but you can find some very realistic silk flowers that will look great in one of the fun plastic vases that you may find. Look for color to match the d?cor and you have a great addition to any room.
Plastic vases also have some very practical uses that you may not think of before you have to use them. When you put flowers near a grave, you don’t want to use glass if you don’t have to do so. You will find vases made of plastic that can go right into the ground so you can add fresh flowers whenever you wish to visit. When you want to take live flowers with you for any reason to any place, your plastic vases are going to be the best choice. You never know what will happen when you travel, or even walk across an icy sidewalk, and you will feel safe knowing your plastic won’t break when the inevitable happens.
