Long Lake Park and Campground is located at North Bagley, surrounded by pine trees. There are walking trails through the woods and each of the 92 camp sites has a picnic table and fire pit. There is space for tents and room for rigs up to 35 foot with 30 or 50 amp hook ups available. The lake is known for its extreme clarity and is popular with scuba divers. There are even sunken boats to investigate at the lake’s bottom. The lake is also well stocked with rainbow trout. The Itasca State Park, where the source of the Mississippi River is located, is a short distance away.
Prairie Lake Campground and RV Park is situated at the scenic Grand Rapids. This is Minnesota camping at its best with 55 sites in the shade, including 26 full hook ups. There is a snack bar, picnic tables and volleyball and basketball courts. Boats and paddle boats are available for hire and there is a swim beach. Many campers enjoy canoe and raft trips.

There is a laundry room and all site roads are black top. Tents are not allowed and pets are permissible if kept leashed. This Minnesota camping site is close to the famous medical center at Mayo.
