Irvine CA Is A Great Place To Get Great Ideas For Design

By: Baily Richards

Irvine Ca

Planned cities give architects a blank canvas on which to design their ideal environment. This was the case in Irvine Ca, a planned development in Orange County. The city is the base for several large corporations and these co-exist with residential areas and green belts. The planners tried to think of every need, including bicycle paths. Some residential streets are restricted by rules on the type of roof material and paint color.

The various neighborhoods were designed in their own architectural style. These include Spanish, modern Californian, French and Italian and in particular, Tuscan. Some recent development has caused these demarcations to be less clearly defined. The careful design has made Irvine Ca a pleasant place to live and work and there are many amenities.

Shopping is catered for at the Irvine Spectrum Center, a mall that contains well known stores such as Macy’s and Hot Topic. There is also a 21-screen cinema that includes an IMAX Theatre, a large ferris wheel and a carousel. The design of the complex is inspired by the Moor architecture in Spain.

Families can enjoy a day out at the local Boomers! Park chain of amusement centers. The Irvine Ca branch has indoor and outdoor attractions, including carousels, video arcades, laser tag, go-karts and children’s rides. There are also restaurants and shows and visitors can have a go on the miniature golf course or in the batting cages.

Wild rivers is another family attraction, a water park with many rides, including wave pools. It’s open from mid-May until September and the park hosts annual events. The Rubber Ducky Derby is a race that is good fun and raises funds for charity. A car show has recently been organized too.

Heritage Park is another popular amenity for sport and relaxation, used by families and sports clubs in Irvine Ca. There are three swimming pools, play areas, an amphitheatre, picnic areas, barbecues and lake. Sporting facilities include courts for tennis, basketball and volleyball. There are also illuminated soccer fields, baseball diamonds and racquetball courts. Mason Park contains a 9-acre artificial lake and a wilderness area to provide a habitat for wildlife and migrating birds. There are bike trails, picnic areas, an area for playing softball and playgrounds. For people who want to test their fitness, there is an obstacle course. Other activities include a golf course and two sand volleyball courts.

There is more development planned for the city, whose planners are looking to the future. The unique environment of Irvine Ca will be protected for future generations. The city has reached out to its global neighbors and has sister cities in Mexico, Japan and Taiwan.
