There are some things in life that virtually all of us loath and despise. One of them is going to the dentist, and the other is getting groceries. Fortunately one of these only comes about every six months, while the other haunts us on a weekly basis. What is it about going to the supermarket that we despise so strongly? Oh wait; I know the answer to this one. First you have the nasty parking lot chaos. Good luck finding a parking space on the weekend. Better yet, good luck maneuvering around the countless other cars and women with shopping carts. But that’s not the worst of it. Nope! The worst comes once you enter that grocery store. Welcome to a mad-house of angry food seekers. These folks will get vicious with their steel carts. Don’t be surprised if they ram you or fail to hear your "pardon me." They’re out for blood, and I’m not talking about the kind you find on a rare steak. What you need is a way out of this war they call grocery shopping. The good news is that there just may be one. You could possible be acquiring your groceries online.
Say hello to the new millennium with a big grin on your face. You’ve got to give it up for groceries online. Who’d have ever thought that one day we could pull up a mere websites, punch in all the items we wish to purchase and then have our groceries delivered to our doorstep? Now this is what I call a luxury. No more growling at crazed old ladies who’re waiting in line at the deli. Not when I can have that freshly sliced meat and cheese delivered. At this point you’re probably going nuts with anticipation. What you want to know is whether or not groceries are delivered in your area, and which supermarket delivers.
A couple of the more common companies that deal with groceries online are safeway.com and netgrocer.com. Find out if they cater to your neck of the woods. If so, you can likely begin purchasing your groceries online and avoid the chaotic supermarket once and for all. Just keep in mind that there will be a service fee if you choose to have your groceries delivered to your door. But hey, isn’t it worth it?
