Buy Play Station
This year, Sony came out with the new Play Station video game system. It’s been a long time since the company came out with a new one, so people were ready and waiting. In fact, there were people who were waiting outside overnight at their favorite store, just to get in first thing in the morning to be one of the few to buy Play Station for themselves or for their children. There were even a few that bought them with the express intent of putting them up on eBay to make some money.
It amazes me that every time a new model comes out, Sony releases a very small amount. This means that there are a lot of people who went to buy Play Station, but there are not nearly enough to go around. When the second version came out, my husband waited for two years before he went out to buy Play Station two because he didn’t think it was worth the hassle. I keep hearing that Sony is losing money, and I wonder if they think creating a huge demand is working. If they keep doing it and they keep losing money, wouldn’t you think they would know it’s not a good idea yet?
Why would Sony only put out a few models so that only a few can buy Play Station three? The thought of all of those people standing out in the middle of the night for a gaming system cracks me up in a way, but I do know that everyone is passionate about something, and as long as it’s not hurting anyone, there is no reason not to pursue it. The problem was that many that lined up to buy Play Station three ended up with nothing, and there were even a few people who were injured or robbed. Not exactly brilliant marketing if you ask me.
If you want to buy Play Station three, but have not gotten near one yet, I know you are probably disappointed. There is one good part of waiting though, and that is going to make you happy in the end. As a company works on something, they always find bugs and kinks that they can get worked out. If you wait a while before you buy Play Station three, you are going to get a better system. There aren’t even a lot of games out there that can be played with the system, as of yet, so you aren’t really missing too much.
