Avocado is an Essential Part of a Vaginal Yeast Infection Diet

There is no one food that is the complete answer to yeast infection, but avocados are an example of the food that is effective in bringing back the right intestinal context to stop aggravated vaginal yeast infection. Does this mean that the food plan including avocado will help patients to get better and immediate vaginal yeast infection? The answer to this requires careful reflection.

In the western world 75 percent of all women will have to endure a vaginal infection at least once in their life, and some eight percent of women will suffer from chronic infections of this type. Vaginal candidiasis, or vaginal yeast infection, is a problem for millions of women in the world. Typically, vaginal candidiasis symptoms include redness or swelling of the vulva, burning and itching which may be intense in the vaginal area, and a discharge that is frequently thick and white and takes on the appearance of cottage cheese.

All of this results when the candida microbe, which is frequent in the human body, grows out of all proportion . Candida is typically found in the intestine in small and harmless quantities but when it grows it can go through damaged gut membranes to get into the blood . This then causes both systemic and local yeast infections, including to the vagina.

Several internal and external factors are among the cause of damage to the internal balance that should normally keep candida in check . These factors include upset of the acid-alkaline balance in both intestines and the blood.

The "acid-alkaline balance" is described by the "pH" level in the human body. A pH of seven is defined as neutral on this scale, which goes from zero to fourteen. A number higher than seven means that the environment is alkaline, where as a number lower means that your internal context is more acidic. Human blood can range from 7.35 to 7.45 and in fact 7.4 is considered the best. Nonetheless, deviations from this normal range can cause severe impact on your health. In this way when the blood has too much acid, the body is more at risk to disease and the ideal context for candida over-multiplication comes about (candida multiplies much quicker in an environment that is acid).

Stress and lack of sleep amongst other things in the western lifestyle, in combination with poor diet plans, increase the acidity of your internal environment. But by switching to a diet that is balanced with alkali, the proper acid and alkaline equilibrium can be recovered. This diet needs to observe two main principles: increased consumption of foods that form alkalis and moderate consumption of foods that form acids.

Avocado, apricots, almonds, asparagus and lettuce are examples of foods that form alkalis. Other foods in this list include figs, cabbage, carrots, spinach, cucumber, lemon, potatoes, soybeans, tomatoes, grapefruit, etc. On the other hand cheese, bread, meat, olives, fish, rice, and takes are all acid-forming foods. It is important to understand that foods in the second category should not be reduced completely but just combined in the right mix with the alkali-forming foods.

It is important to remember that because vaginal yeast infection is a complex phenomenon, being the results of many internal and external factors, neither avocados nor any other foods can be a complete treatment for candidiasis. Increasing more alkaline foods in your diet is a first albeit necessary step towards a holistic and full treatment of vaginal yeast infection.

Did anyone can tell you that there is now a holistic treatment which is all-natural and that can permanently treat and prevent yeast infection of vagina? This program uses healthy diet plans and alterations in lifestyle, a limitation of stress, the intake of supplements that are herbal and homeopathic and cleansing and detoxification. This unique mix of protocols that are anti-candida can reverse and then prevent all kinds of candida infections (including vaginal) rapidly and securely.
