Columbia Industries Inc. manufactured its first polyester resin, "Columbia 300" bowling balls, in Ephtata, Washington, near the Columbia River, in 1960. Since then, Columbia Industries Inc. has developed and manufactured the world-famous Columbia 300 bowling balls, which made this company one of the leaders in America's most popular leisure sport.
