The Areas Where Tattoos Are Least Likely to Hurt

Usually people who are thinking of getting a tattoo are often concerned as to which part of the body is most likely to hurt when you get a tattoo and which area is likely to hurt the least. It is a very normal question and one which may be very hard to answer because people and their pain thresholds differ. A lot of people tend to agree that the arm is the place that you will experience the least pain and which will give you the best positioning for a tattoo. It is simply about getting your tattoo in a place that contains the most muscle and which will absorb the tattooing needle better, this way you experience less pain. Areas where you are likely to experience the most pain are areas with a high level of nerve concentration and erogenous zones such as the inner thigh and areas which are directly over bone such as the ankles.

Most people usually agree that the arm is the best place to get a tattoo and the area where you are least likely to experience a great amount of pain. The reason for this is that this is a place that has a lot of muscle before the bones and it tends to absorb the tattooing needle a lot better and thus less pain is felt. The places where you are most likely to experience pain are the erogenous zones and other zones with high nerve concentration or where there is little muscle or fat and which are more exposed to bone such as the ankles.

Certain areas that hurt a lot like the ribcage usually are chosen by those with more experience, but if it's your first tattoo and you are nervous stick to the arm or leg. Tattoos are one of those things that you should try really hard not to concentrate on where tattoos hurt the most or the least but rather look ahead and imagine how beautiful the art work will look once it is complete.

Whether a tattoo will hurt or not is due to a number of factors but usually the less sensitive the skin in the particular location is, the less the tattoo will hurt you. Those who get tattoos tend to describe the experience as one which feels sort of irritating due to the fact that it feels like repeated pin pricks. In terms of pain , those who have the experience claim that these less sensitive areas are those which are usually exposed more to external elements.

At other times, the amount of pain which is experienced will be determined by the artist who creates the tattoo. Certain tattoo artists are rather heavy handed and this tends to make the pain a lot more intense, other tattoo artists are rather graceful which makes the experience a pleasurable one.

Some people might find one experience hurtful but others might just find it only mildly irritating. The amount of pain experienced will also largely depend on individual pain tolerance levels and some people are more likely to be sensitive to pain than other people.

Some people have described the pain of getting a tattoo as something somewhat like getting a bad case of sunburn. The pain may not be that long-lasting but the way you bear pain and your stamina will have a lot to do with it.

Anyone experiencing mood swing issues should avoid getting a tattoo on that day, you need to get a tattoo on a day you feel relaxed or else it might interfere with the process and the results you get from it.
