Can Secular Home Schooling Guide Our Children Well?

There are parents from different occupations are adopting to homeschooling with various reasons. Some like it, where some may not like it. According to statistics, there are nearly 5% of children from around the world are opting home schooling curriculum with increasing volume.
What is secular home schooling?
Secular home schooling is basically schooling left to the child's interests based learning. These practices are supported by social community groups that have strong religious faith. They also want to to live in a closer bond with these children.
Getting the benefits of secular home schooling are easy
* It allows them to create a bond with one's child as they grow.
* The benefit of letting the child to freely expresses his or her needs and wants for learning on what he or she is strong in.
* Their traditional values and belief remain intact.
* They have safety and educational control.
The disadvantages of secular home schooling.
* When we allow the child to do what he or she pleases and chooses, he might end up with nothing the end; or the child do not enjoy studying or reading which may be neglecting his or her studies. This will affects his survival in the corporate world.
* Since it is homeschooling, the kid will not be able to deal with the outside world efficiently which may leads to confinement within the group. This will limit the child's growth within the society.
* The child will not able to enjoy his day-to-day life routine. It seems like a child just lost his childhood and deprive of doing something that he or she loves to do.
* It is rather difficult to have any real education to prove to the business world by attending secular home schooling curriculum. I am not saying have such an education is going to be wasted, but it is quite tough for them to survive in the real world.
With more disadvantages than benefits attending a secular home schooling program, in which the child will see them sooner or later. However, there are still many embarking on this kind of education due to their beliefs, values, and the social communities they live in.
Secular home schooling usually occured in many rural areas. Most families that take up such programs are not highly educated, but they have strong religious background. The reason why they are putting their children to such education is because they have their interests at heart by not exposing them to the outside world.
We should never miss out on the education that allows us to get in touch with nature. This enables us to fully understand the true value of life.
