Breathe Because You Are Alive
Christian Goodman
All living things breathe - most especially us humans. Nature hardwired our brains to control our breathing automatically because it is so important and so connected with our bodily functions.
Air, food, and water are the substances that fuel life. The most important is air, because only 10% of our energy comes from food and water, and the remaining 90% comes from oxygen, which we get from air.
The eastern world has long known the importance of oxygen in our bodies, and today even the medical community is acknowledging it in therapies and practices. As an alternative healing advocate, I can say that it is the single most important health tip that I can give you.
The reason for that is this - An average person can survive for three weeks without food, and three days without water, but without oxygen, we can't live through three minutes.
Accordingly, the body becomes prone to many serious diseases because of a lack of oxygen. Breathing puts oxygen in every single cell in the body, and if certain cells don't get the oxygen that they need, they become susceptible to disease.
The fact that so many of us don't know the proper way of breathing has added to the increase of medical conditions such as migraines, vertigo, obesity, and hypertension. Aside from proper breathing, other factors prevent oxygen from getting into our system, including pollution and stress, but proper breathing is the most important factor.
Here is a simple exercise. Place your hands on your lower abdomen and exhale all the air out of your lungs. Then take a deep, slow, natural breath through your nose. If you feel your midsection expand as your lungs take in air, then you're probably breathing normally.
Here's why - when you are breathing properly, it should fill the lungs to the very bottom, and as a result, our abdomen expands. When we breathe shallowly, which so many of us do, we expand our ribcages instead. Since the ribcage can only expand so much, we get less oxygen, and when we unconsciously do it over several years, can lead to possibly life-changing ailments.
Now sit back and think of your health. Do you suffer from something that won't go away anytime soon, such as hypertension or chronic migraines? Your doctors may imply certain causes and suggest certain remedies, but nothing will really make these disorders go away until you start learning to breathe properly.
Do yourself a favor and look through my list of programs on the upper-right side of this web page. If you find your disease listed there, then I personally guarantee that I can help you get out of your miserable lot in life - just as how I've done with hundreds of my customers.
I remain committed to help you breathe a little easier,
