More scientific studies are proving that our blood and tissues do accumulate chemicals and other toxins. They can be chemical pesticides or from industrial and environmental pollution including cleaning products, plastics and more. Tests are proving that our bodies cannot remove these on its own. It is time to be proactive, take charge of your health and body cleanse.

Toxins from industrial chemicals and pollutants can affect us in many ways. Scientists and doctors are becoming increasingly aware that certain toxins mimic hormones and may cause genetic alterations. At the same time, certain toxins are linked to Alzheimer's disease, obesity and even certain types of cancers. Many are degenerative diseases that may not show up for years.

Added to all this is the fact that your body stores waste. In fact, when you overeat, or eat too many junk foods, your body becomes burdened or overwhelmed. This is because the body is designed to only digest a certain amount. More than this can cause your body to store the excess as fat and extra weight.

Chemical toxins are no less a threat. They may be on a microscopic level, however we consume or absorb them every day, every meal, and even going outside to breathe. Once again, your organs of detoxification including your liver, become overburdened. This can cause it to be sluggish. Since this organ also helps metabolize fat, we want to ensure it is working as best as it can.

You can take action and enhance your body's ability to lose weight. Don't wait for research to say all is fine, or a new drug will help you. Use some simple guidelines to help yourself and the body cleansing process.

Cleanse your colon to help, since this main organ of elimination needs to be clear to allow all waste to leave. Start by eating a colon cleansing diet replacing processed and junk foods with fresh, organic veggies, fruits and whole grains. Be sure to drink plenty of fresh water and herbal teas. Use a colon cleansing supplement to help soften and remove excess waste. If you need something stricter, try a fat loss program.
