How To Dominate With Your Blog

Everyone had a blog today, so you already know the competition is high. Here are a few tips you can do to dominate with your blog and keep people coming back for more.
Pay for your own domain. I see so many people trying to make it with the free blogs out there. With the cost of a domain and hosting so cheap, there is no reason not to get your own. This will at least show you care enough about your business to invest in it.
OK, you probably have a pretty good idea of what you want to do with your blog. And, it most likely based on someone else's blog you saw along the way. So, head back over there and start trying to build a relationship with them. Make some informative comments on their blog, and see if they will start to answer you back.
Once they answer your comments, they will get to know you a bit. This will be good in the long run, because it builds some credibility with these guys. They will be more likely to tell their readers about your blog.
The other thing you can do, which is what I do, is use you blog for your own resource.
When I figure something out, or find some very good information that helps me get something done, I usually blog about it. This gives me a reference, which I know sometime in the future I will need. Then I just go to my blog, do a search, and there is my information.
There are also blogging conventions monthly. If you can get some time off, then meeting these guys in person is an excellent way to build a relationship. Once they can put a name to a face, they will also be more likely to give you some publicity the next time yo umight need some.
There are so many different ways to get your blog more popular. The one I listed above would be a good place to start. And remember, it is all about building a relationship.
