Its Your Bathroom - Why Not Get Creative?

With the range of decoration ideas available for decorating your bathroom it seems a shame not to do something about it; times have moved on and it is now possible to have a very nicely decorated bathroom you can be proud of.
There are some wonderful bathroom decorating ideas out their and although it may be a functioning room, that doesn't mean it shouldn't be a pleasant place to be. Gone are the days when a bath or shower was a rushed affair; we all want to enjoy the experience so why not do this in a pleasant surrounding.
If you add the opportunity to show off your bathroom decorating ideas a little to your neighbors then it suddenly seems more worthwhile. The kitchen used to be another place that wasn't a high priority but all that has changed as the average family spends more time there so why not the bathroom as well.
If you are stuck for bathroom decorating ideas then why not use some ideas that you have used elsewhere in your home; and when you think about it, this makes perfect sense. So if you like the look of certain plants on small tables throughout the house then there is no reason why this same theme should not continue in the bathroom as well. You can also use it for magazines and books to give your restroom that special touch that really makes life a little better.
This can also work the other way, if you have used certain decorating or furnishing ideas in your bathroom then why not extend some of those to other areas of your home? Let's say you have used a particular design of tile in your bathroom; then why not try using it elsewhere like the kitchen or other en-suites bathrooms.
Often kitchens are tiled in plain white and can look a little bland, so why not try a different color, like the one you have used in the bathroom. And even though the tiling aspect tends to dominate kitchens and bathrooms, there are many other creative bathroom decorating ideas that can be used elsewhere as well.
Soap dishes and soap trays are becoming more creative and fashionable these days, with some designs that are really effective. Some home decoration periodicals have sections on creating your own decorative items for your home including soap dishes and trays and dispensers.
In fact, a number of magazines have illustrated how to make a soap tray or dish out of common clay. Decorations that does not cost alot is always popular so using pleasing prints or photos at strategic places can be effective without any effect on your bank balance. There are plenty of bathroom ideas out there to be found so there is no excuse in neglecting this undervalued room.
