As you lay your head down at night, I'm sure you seldom think of your pajamas, you are probably wearing flannels or even your oldest most worn and comfortable bed time outfit, could there be something else.
It is probably right to assume that lingerie is a luxury that only a small number of people are willing to pay for. Despite this many women wear lingerie under their everyday clothes. Strangely this small bit of luxury has been known to give the wearer a small confidence boost.
Because lingerie comes in all manner of designs and prices, there is a huge choice. Starting with the more conservative and moving to the most creative and sometimes oddly designed, there is a vast array of lingerie to choose from. With such a huge range shopping for lingerie is sometimes a mind boggling experience.
People believe that the colors chosen have meaning and religiously stick to this assumption when choosing a piece for their wardrobe. People believe that choosing a color is important, mainly because it reflects your personality or the message you want to get across.

If you think about it, I'm sure you will agree black is the default lingerie color. In fact in many shops a huge percentage of selling space is dedicated to black lingerie. Actually wearing black lingerie has been shown to mean the wearer leans towards the bold. It has been proven that even if people cant see the garment, it can still be responsible for feelings of control and power over ones self and others.
Because of the feeling of beauty sub-consciously related to wearing black lingerie, many women are addicted to this feeling, even though many times only they know the status of their undergarments. Keeping in mind the power of black and the inner feelings of confidence, it has been noticed that shy women seldom wear this type of attire.
Another quietly hidden feeling that is evoked when purchasing black is the feeling of the hidden mysterious. This has been found in women purchasing this color, even if they originally did not know the meaning. One thing we haven't discussed is black along with red as a powerful tool of seduction. But in general black just means a desire to be mysterious and noticed.
With the many different colors of lingerie, each having their own meaning and provoking different thoughts. Keep in mind when searching for that perfect piece that the other masterful color that provokes many of the same feelings is red.
