Let's See How To Speed Up My Pc
Michael Baker
With hi speed internet everywhere, people do not have time to wait on their slow computer. They want things done right away. So, here are a few things I did to speed up my pc.
Run a defragmenter
This is a free utility that comes with your Windows system. It is kind of slow, but it does the job. There are other free ones you can find online if you search hard enough. What this software does is put your files back together, instead of having them in different locations.
Max out your computer memory
Before your computer does anything, it brings the files into the memory first. So, it makes sense that the larger memory you have the more programs you can bring in there at one time. And, with memory being so cheap, it is best to max the amount of memory you have in your computer.
I Run a registry repair software weekly
The registry is an area in the computer, deep into the computer, that contains a set of instructions, or directions, on how the software and hardware in the computer should run. If anything in here gets messed up, the software ends up looking for the wrong stuff, or looking for the right stuff in different locations. This can definitely slow up a computer.
By using a registry repair software, you are able to scan your computer, normally for free, and see how many errors you have. Then, once you find all of the errors, the software will fix every one of these. Now, your computer should be running back at top speed.
Just by doing these few things, you can see how I speed up my pc when I am having trouble.
