Do you may want to leave the rat race, be your own boss and establish financial independence. Why not let your hobby provide the vehicle?

If you have a hobby, why not treat it as a home based business. As such it could provide financial independence for you and yours. Even if you are walking in clover financially and just want to enjoy your hobby, it just might make you wealthy also!

Imagine this, your favorite hobby is making someone rich over the internet. In this age, information reigns supreme and those that can provide it are the kings and queens. Why not move up to the rank of information royalty and let your hobby make you a financial king also. The internet and the number of internet users is growing fast and there is plenty of room for you.

At last count there are a reported 105,170,327 active web surfers in the US and 165,745,689 people in total who have internet access. In fact, there are around 450 million surfers around the world with over 250 million of those regularly surfing through cyberspace.

And what are they searching for? INFORMATION! No matter what your hobby is, there are hundreds of people on line right now searching for information about that hobby: What is it? How do you do it? Can it be done by a child or an elderly person?

So, you've got a hobby and it brings you solace, joy, relaxation, fun, etc. Did you know that it also has associated with it something of great value? Your know how, experiences and expertise are of value to someone else who is interested in that same hobby or a closely related one. If you were to make your knowledge about your hobby available to them in some form that they can access easily over the internet (an ebook or video).... guess what, You just became an infopreneur!

Maybe that could be a problem for you. You think you don't have the abilities to make and ebook or video? It really isn't all that hard once you get the hang of it. It's like learning any other skill; practice makes perfect. But lets get you off to a fast start so that you will make some money and get bit by the bug of Internet Marketing. Lets get a Ghostwriter to write your ebook. I suggest posting a help wanted on www.elance.com or www.guru.com. You would be surprised at the number of big name Internet Marketers who use the services available through these to develop their products. At a very reasonable price at that. Both of these sites have guidelines to help you with your post as well as evaluate and choose a provider of the service you want.

That sounds like a lot of trouble, you say. Well, there is a learning curve and it takes some time. However, there is a simpler and quicker way for your hobby to earn for you over the internet. There are probably other hobby enthusiasts that are already selling some information about your hobby via the internet. Find out who they are and become a sales affiliate for them. As their affiliate, if you bring them a buyer, they pay you a commission which can be as high as 75% of the sales price. Now for a $100 product, thats groovy; you didn't develop it or deal with ghostwriters, etc. but still made $75. Can life be any sweeter? If you use this approach, I suggest you not promote a product that pays less than 35%.

Hey! I don't know how to promote a product, you might say. As a matter of fact, I don't know how to do much of any of this. Well, my friend, thats the point, "This Ain't Rocket Science", and you don't have to know a lot, and what you don't know is easy to learn or compensate for. You can find forums and blogs on the internet where people are talking about your hobby and then you can post an intelligent comment which includes your affiliate link. When people read your interesting comment, they will click on your affiliate link and go to the product website where if they purchase, you will get a commission.

My point is: you have a hobby and it could be earning you a good deal of money, even a full time income. A lot of people have converted their hobby into income and are now earning $2,500, $5,000, $10,000 and more per month as affiliates promoting other peoples products over the information highway.
