What is your calling? How does this calling affect your ability to create wealth and abundance in your life? The problem I often see is those who are blessed in their Christian Home Based Business can easily lose sight of their calling. God blesses some with the ability to give and blesses others as those who receive. Each person has been called according to the purpose the Lord has set aside for them to serve His Kingdom.
Here is a truth that must be understood, the calling is not money nor is the calling having money. Your response to Christian home business success will define if you are within the Lords will or not. Your ability to create the wealth is not as important as what the Lord calls you to do with your success. Some are called to abundance to support ministries that are working for the Lord and those involved in the ministry are called to be receivers of that support.
Paul warns us in the Word about financial abundance. When your Christian Home Business is successful your response to that success can become easily distorted by the entrappings of the world. Success does not mean that you have the blessing to spend all your income on the luxuries of the world. We are called to use our resources in a way that Honors the Lord. Again Paul warns about this In 1 Timothy.
1 Timothy 6:17-19 "Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life."
We are to hold our blessings according to Gods word and Christian Business Principles. Those of us who have been called to financial success in our lives are not too use this to "lift" ourselves but to Honor The Lord is our Business, in our deeds and our supporting of ministry.
