Reasons not to buy an iPhone

So, you haven't yet bought an iPhone since its original release quite a time ago. Should you buy one now, or should you wait for something even better, as obviously, even this extraordinary gadget has its flaws. Here, I will present some reasons for buying and a few for not buying this really trendy phone.
Buying an iPhone eventually is a good idea.
Of course, an almost infinite list can quite easily be compiled of reasons for not buying an iPhone, as it has a lot of flaws and disadvantages, like any electronic device, for that matter. Just look anywhere on the internet and you will be reading the sixty-seven reasons not to buy an iPhone or the twenty-four problems with iPhones, but I will simply summarize the major drawbacks.
In the United States when you buy an iPhone you are forced to commit to a two year contract and service plan with AT&T. this too at a cost probably not suitable to you. Further more when you take the iPhone outside the country you have to unlock it, which can cause its own problems.
The network supported by an iPhone is a 2.5G EDGE network, and web browsing can be really slow sometimes. Apple is planning to release a new 3G iPhone soon, so why not wait for the new product? While browsing on the web is quite comfortable using Apple's Safari, some would want to use other browsers, which is not possible, iPhones moreover don't support flash, so you will be simply unable to use some sites.
There's also a real lack of variety of applications, and as Apple doesn't yet fully support third-party applications, you will only be able to install some by hacking your iPhone. Seeing this lack of support for creativity from Apple really spoils its image and positions it among the capitalist monsters.
The iPhone is a really awesome, useful and smart device. The first owners subsequent to owning an iPhone have affirmed that they wouldn't even need a laptop after using Apple iPhone. Which they can use to listen to music, watch videos or movies, get information easily any time of the day and use it as a phone.
And though you cannot officially use it with other carriers or install third-party applications, it is quite easy to sidestep this and connect to any carrier or install as many application as you want, as unlocking and hacking your iPhone is really easy.
Finally, an iPhone looks really hip and trendy, you can watch your friends not owning an iPhone drooling over yours for hours on an end and access any information you want any time. Moreover, with the expected release of the iPhone 3G, prices are bound to drop even more, so go ahead and buy an iPhone if you don't find any major fault with it, as soon as prices drop sufficiently.
