Getting The Most From Your eBay Account
For those of you who have an eBay account, you probably think you know how to use it. It’s true, you know how to list your items and you know how to buy items and track your bid in My eBay. But do you use all of the other tools that are available on your eBay account? Probably not, so here is an overview of some of the lesser-known features.
Marketing Tools
If you sell items on your eBay account often, have you even begun to use the marketing tools that an eBay account provides? It will tell you how your cross-promotion is working, and if you decide to open an eBay store, you will have access to additional promotional tools like branding.
Want It Now
If you buy a lot through your eBay account, hopefully you are familiar with the Want It Now option. This is a great option for those who are looking for a specific item and cannot find it just by doing a general search. Say you want a Cabbage Patch doll with a specific birthday or name, and you cannot find it in a search because sometimes those elements are not listed in the title. Use Want It Now to list what you are looking for and let the sellers come to you! People will put their options up for you if they match the keywords that you are looking for. It is a great way to use your eBay account to get exactly what you want.
My Reviews And Guides
This section of your eBay account is probably used the least. Many people do not tend to leave reviews for items that help other people in their purchases. Did you love that video game that you just bought and want to tell everyone how great it is? Leave a review on eBay. Most people think you leave it on sites like Amazon or others that sell the same product, but there are just as many buyers on eBay that could see it as well. Do your fellow shoppers a favor and leave reviews whenever you can.
There are quite a few tools and options on your eBay account that may be unfamiliar with you. It is always good to take the time to see what these tools are about so you will know if you can use them to get better deals or sell more on your eBay account.
