Agricultural equipment is big business and the industry has been dominated by the John Deere Company. It is the world’s largest supplier of agricultural and construction equipment and started making tractors in 1912. John Deere collectibles are easily available and lots of people have fun acquiring them. The company logo appears on the merchandise and the tractor image, the piece of equipment most associated with the firm, is also used.
Some people buy one off items and others like to collect entire categories. These are both decorative and functional items.
