If you have a small home then you probably know the benefits of owning a compact washer and dryer combination. These items are ideal for smaller spaces and you might be surprised to discover the many features that these little machines really offer. There are many reasons that you might want to consider a compact washer and dryer for your home.
Space is the key issue when it comes to these appliances. Other machines can take up quite a bit of room and if you are living in tight quarters to begin with, you might feel as if you are drowning in appliances. Compact washer and dryer sets are designed to offer all of the benefits of a full capacity unit in less space.
Of course, you can’t expect to do very large loads of laundry in these appliances. However, most of the compact washer and dryer units are pretty impressive when it comes to what they can do. I was surprised to discover that they really could handle more clothes than you would expect.
When I was living alone, I dreaded taking my clothes to the Laundromat each and every week. I also hated how long it took for me to get my laundry done. It would take up the better part of an entire afternoon or morning. I actually had to plan my day around laundry.
These weekly trips came to a screeching halt after someone stole an entire load of my laundry. I couldn’t stand standing in the Laundromat and figured that a nice, brisk walk would be a good alternative to staring at a dryer. When I got back I found that one of the dryers I used was empty. This prompted me to look into getting a compact washer and dryer for my apartment.
I couldn’t believe that I didn’t get a set sooner. The appliances were like a dream to me and they served me well throughout my single years in the small apartment. I even took the compact washer and dryer with me when I moved in with my husband. We still use the appliances and will continue to do so until the machines die or until we start a family.
The price is right on the compact washer and dryer combos as well. I love that I am spending a lot less for a really convenient product that will stand the test of time. These durable machines promise to be with you as long as you are in your tight quarters. You might even take them along when you move into a bigger home.
