The Xbox 360 Rock Band is a game that really gets friends and family together to perform as a real rock band. Unlike karaoke games from the past or Guitar Hero, the Rock Band game offers up 4 different jobs to choose from when creating a band.
Whether you’ve always dreamed of being a drummer, guitar player, bass guitar player or singer, this game is for you. You can play by yourself with AI band mates, or you can get a group of up to 4 people together for some fun. You can even compete online and let the world hear how much of a rock star you really are. Even if you aren’t an avid musician, you can find a lot of fun, challenge and even ego from playing the Xbox 360 Rock Band game.
Playing the Drums
Probably one of the more challenging jobs in the band, you better have some agility and speed to keep from failing your band mates. This Xbox 360 Rock Band job offers up a great work out, but make sure to put something heavy in front of the drum set. Otherwise, you’ll find that using the drum pedal can have you chasing after it. It seems no amount of hard drumming will wear the drum set, so no worries about really letting loose.
Playing the Guitar
The guitar is straight forward and is pretty easy to learn the "moves", at least during the first part of your career. But beware that the more famous you get, the harder you have to play in order to gain fans and earn any real recognition. In the Xbox 360 Rock band game, the guitar will experience plenty of solo time, especially in songs like Mississippi Queen.
Playing the Bass Guitar
Similar to playing the Xbox 360 Rock Band guitar job, you can use the regular guitar for the job. Playing the bass guitar is easier than playing the regular guitar, and can help to get you through the hard songs that you can’t get through when playing the guitar. As with the regular guitar, the bass guitar job gets harder as you move on, but it offers some cool sounds in many song selections.
Singing in the Xbox 360 Rock Band Game
It might sound like the easiest job of all, but even some of the best singers find it hard to stay inline with the game. Although you won’t find a lot of freedom as to how you belt the songs out, the game does a great job of holding you accountable for staying on key and showing enough pizzazz.
