Three Causes Of Hypertension

Three Causes of Hypertension

Christian Goodman

There are three factors that contribute to hypertension...

- genetic factors

- dietary factors

- factors relating to emotional tension and stress

The third reason, emotional tension, is the most harmful.

Genetic Factors:

These reasons play a major role in the cause of primary hypertension.

Researchers and scientists are not currently sure which genes are actually responsible for the development of hypertension.

The unique characteristics of each one of us are determined by our genes and chromosome's production of proteins.

Only reasons affecting the renin-angiotensin-andosterone system have been researched on. This system is the one responsible for helping the body regulate its blood pressure, basically by controlling the balance of salt, and the state of elasticity within the arteries.

Genetic factors contribute to more than 30% of all cases of primary hypertension.

What this means is that despite a healthy nutrition and fitness plan, those with the high blood pressure genes in their system already may still have to deal with the disease. (This can however been dealt with. I'll explain how later in this article.)

For example, it seems that high blood pressure or hypertension is most rampant for people of African heritage in the the United States.

Asian Americans seem to have the lowest cases of hypertension. Also, those born to parents with hypertension have the most probability to also develop the condition.

It is uncommon for unusual genetic disorders to be identified with primary hypertension, as these cases typically identify secondary hypertension instead.

Dietary Reasons:

There are a number of dietary factors that can lead to the development of hypertension, including drinking too much alcohol, consuming too much caffeine, and eating the wrong things.

If you are overweight, it can have a large influence on whether or not you will develop hypertension, especially when you already have the genes that cause the disease.

Even though you are not overweight, eating the wrong foods can also cause your blood pressure to rise.

Foods that are rich in cholesterol, Tran saturated fats and an excess of salt are good examples of these bad foods.

Being overweight is one of the largest "environmental" causes for hypertension.

Too much caffeine or coffee in your body can also lead to issues coming from hypertension development if you do not moderate the intake of these beverages. Both are good in moderation.

Emotional Tension and Stress:

If you get involved with too many things at work, at home or with social obligations, you may find yourself with a lot of unnecessary stress.

This stress will stick with you a lot longer than you realize, and can cause many health problems including hypertension.

Anxiety is another major cause for hypertension, as it normally leads to a spike in our blood pressure.

If you worry too much, or are stressed our, you can have chronic hypertension.

The major contributing factor for hypertension is emotional tension and stress, and even if there are no hereditary or dietary factors, because of the level of stress that you might be in, you can develop chronic hypertension.

My natural blood pressure exercise program has three exercises that not only eliminates the emotional tension and stress related causes of hypertension, but also removes the dietary and hereditary related hypertension causes as well.
