When you are wanting to travel to Granada, Spain for your vacation or for work, there are many things to consider in order to make sure that your travels are easy and fun for you. There are four typical ways to travel and that is by plane, by bus, by train, and by car. You should never just pick a way to travel off of the top of your head, as there are many things to consider. By making sure that you know everything there is to know about the different ways to travel to Granada, Spain you will make sure that you are getting the most out of your trip.

The ease of flying is without a doubt easier on the person who is doing the traveling but there are still things to consider. Even though there are now direct flights into Granada, there are only about six locations that you can get these direct flights from. There are a lot more direct flights into Malaga so it may be worth checking into flying there and then getting a taxi or jumping on a bus to take you into Granada. If you are not into flying, there are other ways to go about planning your travel into Granada, Spain.

You could always travel into Granada, Spain by bus but the bus station for Granada is not near the center of town. This means that you will still have to get a taxi in order to get yourself to your actual destination. You should know though that you couldn’t book their taxis ahead of time which means you cannot call for one until you arrive. But, it generally does not become a problem, as the taxis do not seem to take long at all to pick you up. You could always just travel into Granada, Spain yourself by driving yourself as the roads in Spain have dramatically improved over the past twenty years or so.

Train is still a popular way to travel into Granada, Spain but it will still take you about four or five hours from most other cities as the high-speed line does not run through Granada.

Because of the travel time it takes for most trains to get into Granada, a lot of people will pick the bus. Also, getting a ticket at the train station can sometimes take up to an hour because of the mass volume of people. So if you are short on time or really hate waiting, you may want to travel into Granada, Spain by bus or by driving yourself there.
