Halloween Games For Teens Can Be Fun

By: Hunter Jones

There Are Good Halloween Games For Teens

Maybe the teens you know won’t admit it, but there are fun Halloween games for teens in existence on the planet. You will probably still hear complaints, but if the teens are smiling, chances are they are actually having a good time. Halloween can be a tough time for teens. Many wish they were small enough to still be allowed to go trick or treating and must face the rest of their lives without trick or treating ever again. So they can be a tough crowd to please on Halloween night.

Fortune Telling

One of the best Halloween games for teens are fortune-telling games. If you actually know anyone who reads tea leaves or Tarot cards, hire them. This sort of thing fascinates teens, even if they are interested only in trying to find the "catch". But anyone can play a fortune telling game by looking in a lava lamp and seeing if you see images (just like seeing shapes in the clouds).

Marshmallow Race

This fun Halloween game for teens started on a Japanese television show and Ellen Degenerous started doing a version on her talk show. This is one of those games where everyone winds up looking ridiculous. You tie up a bunch of marshmallows and dangle them off of the ceiling. Then, you attach a knee-high pantyhose to the wall, toe side to the wall.

The party-goers have to (one at a time) loop the open end of the panty hose over their heads and under their noses and pull forward. The aim is to get the marshmallow in their mouths. They can’t use their hands. The teen that does this the fastest, wins. Have many panty hose ready to go, because the knee high might break or snap during the course of this Halloween game for teens.

Dude, Who Am I?

This is one of the Halloween games for teens that don’t require a lot of physical skill. The party host pins pictures of famous people or monsters to the backs of the guests. Everyone pairs off. They have to ask "yes or no" questions of a partner to find out their secret identity.

You could even change this to make the person have to ask yes or no questions to anyone they don’t know and then, at the end of the evening, everyone has a guess. You could do any number of variations of this basic guessing game. This might be better for the shyer party-goers who don’t want to play something like the Marshmallow Game.
