Two Reasons People Divorce

When two individuals are in love, discussion between the two often turns to the commitment of marriage. Marriage is a union between two people who express their unwavering devotion to each other and vow to be faithful for the remainder of their life to each other.

However, events happen in our lives that are beyond our control. In fact, it has been recently estimated that one out of every two marriages end in divorce. There are many factors that can contribute to the demise of many a marriage. Two of the major reasons people divorce are money and lack of communication.

Money

When it comes to money, there are a variety of ways that people interact with this necessity of life. For example, some individuals are savers and always want to be putting their money away for a rainy day. An some other individuals are spenders and are always throwing away their money and their spouse’s money as if there was no tomorrow. When individuals bring this wide gap in financial values to a relationship, there may be challenges in reconciling those differences.

Therefore, when a couple is joined together in matrimony, they bring these various financial perspectives into the relationship, which in turn may cause a strain on the relationship that eventually cracks it apart. Consequently, if there is no give and take in regards to the handling of the finances those differences may ultimately be one of the reasons people divorce.

Lack Of Communication

Another major reason people divorce is because of lack of communication. This potential reason people divorce is due to the fact that some individuals communicate and some individuals over communicate.

Obviously, people are different and handle various situations in a different matter. For example, one individual may incessantly talk about what is on their mind, how their day went, how they are feeling, etc. On the other hand, there are those individuals who may keep things within and not speak their mind.

In addition, in regards to communication as a reason people divorce, it is important to speak one’s mind in regards to daily interactions with one’s spouse. This is important because many marital partners do not express themselves when they are hurt by the other individual or never engage in open and honest dialogue with the marital partner. Eventually, if this continues, the possible anger that is experienced and not vented may turn inwardly which eventually will turn into hate.
