Spinal stenosis and psoriatic arthritis are both exhibited when usually dealing with a particular type of psoriatic arthritis, spondylitis. It is mainly characterized by stiffness that appears in the neck or spine and it can also attack feet and hands. The way spondylitis affects the body is similar to that of symmetric arthritis, thus being difficult to properly diagnose in different situations. Psoriatic arthritis and spinal stenosis are rarely exhibited together by the same individual but when it happens there are two possible variations. The first stands in the spine affected by spinal stenosis and various other joints by psoriatic arthritis. This is quite rare though and the common variation is that in which both diseases will have an impact on the spine and neck of the patient. The good news is that treatment solutions do exist and can work very well if combined with minor changes in one’s lifestyle.
