just fine is never good enough

Many people are perfectly happy with the status quo; they believe that everything is perfectly okay just the way that it is and that the needs for updating your kitchen design scheme is merely an esthetic pipe dream of the wealthy and wasteful. While that is an interesting argument, nothing could be further from the truth. In reality people need to keep moving forward. This is the whole crux of life; that people need to move from certain behaviors and patterns into more advanced and civilized ways of living.
The same is true for your kitchen. If you maintain everything as it was then you will never be able to experience anything other than what you already have. Making a major change such as replacing kitchen cabinets or building a kitchen island will truly change your life.
Just Fine is Never Good Enough
Take for example your eating habits. If you eat the same way when you're 50 as you did when you were 15, you would probably not be very healthy. That said having the same hot plate and instant coffee maker that you had when you were 22 will not be able to satisfy the culinary desires of a much older and more refined and sophisticated individual.
While the goods and design which you have a kitchen right now may be just fine, just fine is never going to be good enough for both of us. Most of us want to be better than we were yesterday and better still tomorrow than we are today. For this reason you should always try to take your whole life in a forward moving progressive direction and never be satisfied with "okay." There are many good things about tradition and holding onto certain aspects of your past to pass along to the next generation; however there are other things about your life which always need to be improved upon or updated so that you can appear to be a forward moving individual.
Making Your Life Just As Good As Incomparable
One more way for you to stretch out your wings and completely take off from this earthly experience is to be able to make your life exactly what you want to be. While this is always going to take a great deal of time and effort and finances and it will not be automatic, the reward is far worth the struggle to get there.
So you should always remember to keep moving forward in your life and to keep your kitchen on the same plane as your life. When you are young and struggling your kitchen can look at such; however when you have achieved a certain level of stature within the community, within your job, and within your own spiritual quest then this should be reflected in your home decorating experience; your kitchen included.
