Underlying Cause Of Snoring

When you know what REM sleep is you will get an in depth idea about what snoring is. The causes of snoring have been researched over a period of time and we will discuss this here.

To get an idea as to why snoring happens we must know what happens when we are awake. Our day activity causes us emotional strain and tiredness which gets stored in our body muscles.

Just try and think what you do when you are angry. Don't you close your fists even though you don't intend to hit anyone. This is nothing but a part of our unconscious body language which we have no control over.

It's estimated, the tone of our voice and our facial expression counts for at least 80% of our total communication. The words we use count for less than 20%.

Sometime or the other all of us have encountered a situation where we have to put on a different face and voice than what we actually are feeling from inside. Even if you are raging inside you have to keep your calm because you cannot shout at the individual you are dealing with.

When we are in deep sleep our freeze feelings are stored in the body muscles. This has a adverse effect on the muscles of the breathing passage than any other muscle group.

During our sleep the breathing passage gets blocked by the muscle tension. This is what causes early night snoring. After some time snoring stops for a while as our muscles relaxes a little.

Now, here comes the interesting part. After sleeping for a few hours, we go back to a very light sleep called REM sleep. That's when we dream. In a REM sleep, we also integrate all the informations and experiences from the previous day. Our subconscious takes all the emotions stored in our muscles and processes them. Imagine what's going on in your muscles while this is taking place.

Its very sad to say that during the REM sleep tension doesn't get liberated from our muscles. The assessment taken by our subconscious is that these muscles require to be kept anxious to freeze any sentiments the next day. This will make snoring more problematic and harder to tackle.

When we are in our REM sleep the emotional process activates our muscles which is a important thing for us to know. Due to this our breathing passage gets blocked and this causes snoring. Usually we go to REM sleep 2-3 times a night. This is the main reason why early morning and late night snoring is usual.

So what's the solution? There are two ways to eliminate the underlying cause for snoring...

1) When you are moderate and non imprudent then less emotional stress is stored in the body muscles. A cheerful, blissful approach is required in every situation which will helps you in your own well being. Indulging in bitterness is like consuming a poison and thinking it will kill your enemy. Expressing your feelings and authenticity reasonably, releases and integrates the familiarity right away, so your intuitive doesn't have to do it during the night.

2) Exercising with your tongue, throat and jaws helps in reducing tension from our muscles. We have been facing the problem of creating muscle tension since years, so now it is required to exhume the stressed body muscles. If we continue with these exercises it will help us discontinue early night snoring as well as REM sleep snoring.

Use of both the tactics would do wonders.

Its obvious that the current methods used in dealing with snoring target only the most apparent symptoms. Even if the symptoms get disappeared for a while, the other original and essential cause gradually worsens. This makes the snoring reappear much louder. Snoring can be cured permanently by treating the actual underlying causes.
