One of the most important pieces of equipment needed for proper paintball safety is the mask. The mask is a crucial piece of paintball equipment because it protects the person’s face and neck which are the areas that would get most damaged if hit by a paintball. With the widespread accessibility of paintball equipment, thousands of people are now trying out the sport every month but the best players always make sure to wear their masks.
Most paintball centers will not even allow a person to play if they do not have a mask and the other important paintball safety equipment.
Safety Procedures
There are a few other pieces of equipment that need to be worn during a game of paintball as well, but just as important here are the paintball safety procedures that need to be taken into account. Paintball is a great sport but it can be very dangerous if not played properly and if the basic guidelines are not followed.

Even if the lens stays in pristine condition it will be necessary to change it at least every six months and the manufacturer’s safety information on the lens should be noted before wear.
Being defensive when it comes to staying out of harm’s way is also important here, especially in today’s day and age where people can be easily sued. It just makes sense that people will want to keep themselves from being set up for a lawsuit, and this means making sure to play the game properly, each and every single time. It is not a good idea to play paintball in areas where it is not a true designated paintball field run by legitimate staff, for one.
