Speaking from the diaphragm is an alpha male trait. In fact, singing instructors teach their students to do this. When coming from the diaphragm, the human voice has more power and masculinity (when coming from a man) The voice sounds less confident and flat when coming only from the voice box.
Call to mind all the men you have ever been around who thrive with women. Ever notice how they talk? A masculine voice is very appealing to a woman. A great way to practice this is to push air from your diaphragm when you speak and breathe. Practicing this strengthens the muscles in your diaphragm and makes your voice appear deep and masculine.
Speaking
When a man stutters and uses words like "um" and "uh", it makes him sound uncertain of what he's saying. Avoiding these kinds of mistakes will make you seem more confident. Politicians are taught to practice this when giving a speech.
Unless you have a speech impediment, there is no reason to trip over your own words. It makes you sound weak and unsure of yourself. Practice speaking into a recorder and playing it back. Eliminate "um" and "uh" from your vocabulary. Make a conscious effort in all communication, not just with women.
Speaking Speed
Fast talking = shadiness and no confidence. Slow speaking = lack of intelligence. Stay in the middle!
Again, using a recorder is a good way to hear yourself as others hear you. The recorder doesn't lie!

Mumbling will have a negative effect in your communication. When you annunciate words, it is clear you aren't embarrassed of what is coming out of your mouth. This displays confidence.
Practice, practice, practice!
Eye Contact
This is very important! When (not if) you look a woman in the eye when starting a conversation, it is crucial that the woman look away first. I can't stress this point enough. This gets things off on the right foot. Keep in mind, though, there is a fine line between staring and displaying good eye contact. A rule of thumb is to look her in the eyes more when you are talking, and less when she is talking.
I can't convey enough how crucial this is. If you disregard everything else in this article, don't disregard this! Try this: The next time you are speaking with a woman you like, wait for the moment when the two of you "lock eyes". Whatever you do, make her look away first! This will have a very strong effect on her. This will also give you a chance to observe her pupils (More on this later). She will start to blush, look to the floor (A sign of submission), and maybe even get tongue tied. She is now in the presence of a firm, masculine man.
