Why Are Funny Thongs & Boxers Sexier?

I am embarrassed to say that I wore white BVD stretch underwear well into my forties. My mom bought them for me as a kid, and old habits die hard. As years went by, and I was in my late teens and learning about sex, though I would notice strange looks from women, I continued to wear them. Forgive me. I grew up in rural Mississippi. Give an old guy a break.
It was not until, perhaps, I was about fifty that I met a woman who saw them and told me to remove them. I thought she might be hot for me, but the true fact was, she said, "Put on some jeans, we are going to J.C. Penny's right now and finding you some decent adult underwear!"
"Oh my", I thought. "I'm becoming my father, and she is expediting that process by making me buy loose white boxer shorts." To my pleasant surprise, that was not the case. Yes, there were boxers, but they were tight-fitting designed boxers that felt and looked great. She made me throw away all my old BVD's which, like an old car or computer, had become my friends, so there was that short grieving process. But it was very short-lived. She liked them so much, she would go on special shopping sprees to find me good looking boxer shorts.
On the other hand, I often called her the thong queen. This woman loved thongs. I always felt her motto should have been "With a thong, you can't go wrong", but that was too obvious, so I said, "She has a thong in her heart." (I wrote that one down because I liked it. I will explain more later in this article.
Not that this has anything to do with undergarments, but I am a cartoonist and to put bread on the table I have online gift shops featuring my cartoons (Londons Times Cartoons).
The thought occurred to me one night, and, perhaps it was an out-of-the-ordinary thought, which cartoonists are prone to have, and that thought was, "Yeah, we might look sexy in our trendy undergarments, but............but....or butt.......do we look funny?
For whatever reason men don't appreciate his underwear being a source of ridicule, especially by a female and even more especially by a female he admires and he hopes admires him.
One must admit, being a prude or not, sex is not just fun but can be quite funny too. Not sex itself, with all respect I find it a spirtual and even holy act. But the "mating part" the "courting part" reminds me of watching old reruns of "Wild Kingdom". We can be real animals in a way. So does sexy and funny underwear bring out more of the animal in us? I decided to find out and opened a store that sells sexy and funny boxers and thongs with my cartoon images on them online.
And the feedback has been phenomenal with our new little niche store "A Thong In My Heart".
I was thinking of naming it "A Boxer In My Heart" but for some reason I felt it would go over like "A Stint In My Heart".
The unique comic thongs and boxers, to my knowledge, are the first of their kind on the market and the topics like medicine, law, science, love and dating, pets, and so on.
So this Valentine's day, I have no idea what I'm getting, but I know what I'm giving, and I know it's right to be thong. Or something like that.
