North Cyprus is a secular state with no official religion. One can find different types of people residing in this part of Cyprus. Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean after Sardinia and Sicily. It is located 65 km from Turkey's southern coast. Other neighboring countries include Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Israel and Greece.

The most prominent feature of North Cyprus is the range of mountains situated in the northern region, known as the Kyrenia Mountains, or Five Finger Mountains. It is a narrow range and is approximately 130 km long. It runs parallel to the coastline and occupies an area of about 260 sq km. This range is composed predominately of limestone, dolomite, and marble. Many North Cyprus Villas can be found to be located around this range. These villas allow one to view the beauty around and they are economical too.
The northern part of the island is lush with vegetation and hosts many varieties of trees and plants including olive trees and carob trees. The largest natural spring on the island is also found in the North and is situated in the Five Finger mountain range. Luckily the region is able to many North Cyprus villas whose spectacular views include the Mesaoria plain, located in the island's central region between the Kyrenia and the Troodos mountain ranges.
