You can get one on one help for your child if you advertise for someone at your local college. There are often students that need the experience, and they won't ask for much to tutor your child. They may even be able to count something like that as an internship. Many find this to be very satisfying and very helpful when their child needs just a little push to catch up with the rest of the class.
