When scientific studies came out praising fruits and vegetables as being the key to health, it was a call to the now Juice Plus distributors to develop a product that would meet the needs of people looking to improve their health. Thus, the Juice Plus concept was developed. This concept stated that consuming Juice Plus products was "the next best thing to consuming fruits and vegetables."
Product wise, there is a whole line of items distributed by Juice Plus distributors. These products include Orchard Blend, Garden Blend, and Vineyard Blend capsules. Other products include gummy candies, meal replacement powders, vitamins for cats and dogs, wafers, and chewable tablets.
Claiming Lies
The claims made by Juice Plus distributors are often disputed ? and upon hearing them it is clear that they are far fetched. The producers of these products claim that Juice Plus contains the "nutritional essence of 17 different fruits, vegetables, and grains." They also claim that Juice Plus can provide many health benefits, including cardiovascular wellness, protecting DNA, reducing oxidative stress, and supporting a healthy immune system.
Studies have produced results that conflict with these claims. While it has been found that Juice Plus contains some nutrients, it also appears that some of these nutrients are not properly absorbed into the body. Other studies have shown that there is little or no positive cardiovascular affects of Juice Plus.
