This method of working with the Noni fruit preserves any nutrients found in the pulp itself and adds some fiber to the other nutrients in Noni juice.
The use of filler juices has its advantages and its disadvantages. On the plus side, the taste of Noni fruit puree appeals to a broader audience because addition of apple juice improves the flavor. However, diluting the Noni fruit may dilute its therapeutic power. The processor may not disclose the amount of Noni juice in the product compared to filler juices like apple juice. When Noni fruit juice is processed into powder, the ripe fruit is completely dried, and the dry fruit is ground into powder.
