A new policy will have new terms and conditions.

It will help you in continuing your existing COBRA insurance policy. You should have all the papers so that you are able to take advantage of the COBRA insurance completely. There might be many changes within the policy if a person is going to update his COBRA health insurance policy.

Medical insurance is sponsored by the company itself and the person has to pay on annual bases. It is not legal to incorporate changes until and unless there is a major event in life such as marriage, death of a spouse, giving birth, a divorce or may be employment termination.

You have the right to bring changes to your policy which can include upgrading or downgrading the conditions covered by your policy.
