Playing rock guitar is exhilirating and Guitar Hero 3 makes this fun and interesting. The songs included are both modern and classic guitar pieces like the Stones. The Christmas rush made it difficult to track down guitar hero , especially the wireless version.
The wired version of guitar hero iii is around a three foot cable. You can get a longer cable that is 10 feet plus of course there is the wireless les paul guitar verson. The wired version is Gibson xplorer guitar.
Some of the selections include the Rolling Stones Paint it Black as well as Welcome to the Jungle . There are both songs for Baby Boomers as well as recently released rock tunes. There are levels of playing so you start off at easy and as you gain skills advance to the more difficult levels.
Don't get frustrated at the hard level as that is difficult but first master the earlier levels. I personally hope they'll add in future versions While my Guitar Gently Weeps and Stairway to Heaven as those are wonderful. Obviously there are some songs you won't love passionately but many you will depending on your taste.
If you are familiar with guitar you'll see they use hammer-ons which is a technique used a lot by blues artists. If you get the wireless guitar version of the Les Paul guitar the face plates can be taken off and customized.
As you follow the tutorials you'll learn about chords, playing single notes and the long notes that are part of rock guitar. You'll be challenged but it's rewarding unlike the mind numbing shooting games or violent ones . Family members like this too as everyone wants to identify with a celebrity and can't resist the music.
