Boosting Conversions With Audio

Boosting Conversions With Audio

In another article, I talked about using audio to collect testimonials on your website. There are many other ways to use audio as well. Audio has proven itself to be a "Ninja weapon" for boosting conversions when used properly in your marketing. If you do it properly, it will almost without fail boost sales.

Spend an hour adding audio to three key parts of your website and watch conversions soar.

I believe the best tool on the market for putting audio on your website is Audio Generator. Here's the site: http://newaudiomarketing.com. It is extremely easy to use. In fact, I find that most people end up putting more audio on their site once they have an Audio Generator account just because it is so easy to use.

Here are three places to use audio for better conversions:

Your squeeze page. Just record the copy that is already on your squeeze page. You can try something like, "Hi, this is Ray Edwards, and welcome to my site. I can't wait to tell you all about my copywriting services, and how I can increase your sales, reduce returns, and help you build your business. To find out more, just fill in your name and e-mail address below, then click the submit button." That's a quick example off the top of my head, to give you an idea of how it should sound. Make your audio play automatically on this page. You may annoy a few people, but you will sell to a whole lot more. I've personally tested this for my clients' websites - clients like Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, and Alex Mandossian. In almost every case, autoplay leads to higher opt-in rates.

Sales Page (in the Guarantee!). Most sales pages have a press-to-play audio button at the top of the page. From the latest test data that I've seen, you will get a bigger boost in conversions if you add the audio button in your guarantee section of your sales letter. People feel more reassured to hear you speak the guarantee in your voice.

Order Page. Once again, I recommend using autoplay audio. When people click that Buy button and they reach the shopping cart or order page, they hear something like this: "Congratulations on making a great decision to buy. Remember, you're getting the following three benefits when you act now. Here's what you need to do. Just put in your name and your billing information. Double-check your credit card information to make sure it's correct before you click that submit button." Using an audio similar to this will increase the number of completed orders on your order page.
