Fruit Punch Is A Great Drink

When it comes to parties, most adults enjoy an alcoholic drink or two. However, when children are involved you have to come up with something that they can drink. It should be something they don't have every day, and that is when fruit punch comes in. You can get this in a juice from the store, but it is not like the type you would make for a family gathering or a party. It is hard to find a child that does not like to drink this mix, and most adults will enjoy it as well. The best thing about it is that you can make a host of variations so you never have to serve the same type twice.

There is a simple version of fruit punch that most use. This is simply a fruit juice combined with something like Sprite or 7Up. The fruit is a great flavor, and the soda adds a twist and a bite to the drink. It is a unique combination that has yet to be captured in something you buy from the store. All you have to do is get a punch bowl for your fruit punch. Add the juice and the soda, and ice for a hot day. You then have a drink that is easy and not your every day fare.

There are some twists you can use to jazz up your fruit punch if you find you serve it quite often. Many who serve it at weddings like to have something a little more uncommon for their punch, and they do that by adding more to it. You can add fresh fruit for a great taste addition to your fruit punch. One great way to do that is to freeze some fruit pieces in a ring of ice that you add once the punch has been made. It will melt slowly in the punch and release pieces of fruit along the way. You can also add extra fruit pieces right to the mix if you want to do so.

For the adult fruit punch, you can add champagne to the mix instead of or along with the soda. You can use any mixture of juices you want when you make your fruit punch, and you can make more than one type if you want to. Just remember that if you have alcohol in any drink it should be marked as such so children are not served from that bowl or pitcher. It can even be kept behind the bar, if you have one, or it can be kept in the kitchen area where children are not allowed to roam.
