How many of you reading this have seen those ads that tempt you with pictures of Ferrari's, yachts and big houses. Do those programs work? No, not unless you are the owner. You are probably wondering if there is actually a way that you can make an online income
Well the answer is yes there is a way to make money online. But now the bad news is there is no quick fix you'll need to work at it. I takes hard work and focus to succeed. I started online marketing because I had to. I worked 12-18 hours a day at the beginning. And it took several months before I could cut back and spend time with my family. The reason i had to work so hard was that i was trying to do it alone without any advice or help.
If you want to make money online you first need to have a reason for making that income. Spend sometime working out exactly what you want from life. Forget big houses and fast cars these are only transient things. There will be a bigger and better house that you'll want next year. Think about what really matter to you.
If after you've thought deeply you decide that you want to see your family grow up, you want to be able to make it to your children's school concert and not have to work late on that important project. If you decide that you want to be able to take your wife for a romantic lunch before you collect the kids from school then you have the correct frame of mind to start making an income for yourself. If you don't have a family and you decide you want to be self reliant and not a wage slave then you are on the way. Be realistic and you won't be disappointed.
Ok so now you know what you want it's time to look for a strategy that will work. The fist thing to do is to get yourself a strong foundation in place. Your foundation should be a steady reliable form of income. Once you have that income in place then you build on it. It 's a lot like building a house start with strong foundations then add walls and finally a roof.
When I started I created my foundation site around Adsense, Amazon and Clickbank. All are strong programs that have a long history of paying out on time. I create sites then promote them using articles and Web 2.0 resources. My whole focus with these site is getting traffic to them. Once the income has built up and the visitors are coming then it's time to move onto the walls.
When it comes to building your next level of income you can afford to take a few more risks. Speculating in domain names or flipping websites might be ideal income streams to add to your portfolio of sites. These "walls" should have a bit of a fun element involved. They are the type of projects that could make you a heap of money if done correctly.
The final part of your strategy should be the roof. This is here you take every thing you have learned and use it to create your own products and programs. It might not feel like it now but by the time you have got to this stage you will know a lot more than most people. Be prepared to share that knowledge and the best way of doing that is to create a product.
The great thing about this strategy is that if you have no spare cash you can start out with very little, in fact it is possible to start out with $0.00 and turn this into a full-time income by clever use of resources. There are enough good quality free resources available to make thi possible.
