1. Chevrolet Houston
Chevrolet Houston was the most searched for car in Houston. Almost 257,000 people searched for Chevrolet Houston last month. This puts Chevrolet squarely above its Japanese rivals: Toyota Houston and Honda Houston.
2. Ford
Ford Houston was searched for nearly 215,000 times. This is a solid showing for a company that has been struggling recently.
3. Houston Toyota
Trailing Ford Houston by about 45,000 searches is Toyota Houston with fewer than 170,000 searches. Although it dropped from the top spot when compared to L.A., it is still a strong competitor in Houston.
4. Honda
Honda Houston is the second most searched Japanese car in Houston. There were a little more than 145,000 searches for Honda Houston. It trails Toyota in most major cities, but it is still a good solid car.
5. Nissan Houston
Rising in the rankings in Houston is Nissan Houston. 120,000 searches were initiated for Nissan Houston last month. In L.A., Nissan placed ninth.
6. BMW Houston
BMW Houston arrives 6th on the list. Close to 110,000 people searched for BMW Houston. This is a strong showing for a luxury automobile in a city that values practicality.
7. Dodge
Increasing the standing of domestic cars in Houston is the seventh place car: Dodge Houston. This is the first car on the Top 10 List to pull in less than 100,000 searches. It came in at about 92,000.
8. Mercedes Benz
The second luxury car on the Top 10 List was searched for about 82,000 times. There are enough people with money in Houston to put Mercedes Benz Houston in the Top 10.
9. Houston Lexus
Another luxury automobile in the top 10. Lexus Houston received 68,000 searches. People who search Lexus like luxury but not the high prices of BMW or Mercedes Benz.
10. Cadillac Houston
Cadillac Houston is a new comer to the top 10 list. It is an American-built luxury automobile: showing once again that Houston prefers domestic to foreign. Just over 61,000 people searched for Cadillac Houston last month.
