Getting what you want from life requires many things. Of those requirements, probably the most important is FOCUS. The definition of focus is: the concentrated effort or attention on a particular thing. That translates to knowing and accepting that no matter the odds, you will put forth every effort to get the job done. Making the commitment for anything requires identification of the key elements that are associated with achieving success.

1.Burning Desire-wanting something so much, that everything you do works towards that goal. Having a burning desire is probably the most important factor. Recognizing the difference between a wish and a desire is absolutely necessary to win at achieving your real desires. "Wishing" is something you do when you would like to have something or achieve something but just don't seem to make time to get it done. You start with a bang but fizzle out down the road. This is an important clue. As soon as the initial desire passes, you don't think of it anymore. A " burning desire" continues to consume you and won't go away no matter how much you try to quell it. You go through the thought process of making plans. If it is "true desire", you will have a hunger to go to the ends of the earth to make it happen. "Intense" desire is the first requirement for achieving anything worthwhile. Having an intense desire to achieve something means spending extensive amounts of time putting a plan together. Working towards that goal requires a dedicated attitude. In the end, persistence and perseverance will pay off.

2. Always keeping your eye on the prize-Focus-Focus-Focus, is the ongoing inspiration to reach your goals. Maintaining focus on what you are trying to achieve, is done by talking to yourself. This is done by using affirmations. You tell yourself positive things to boost your moral and keep your mind headed in the right direction. It isn't necessary to do this all day. The following combination of exercises will create the same effect as physical exercise. Repeated over and over, you will gain strength and endurance for the long haul.

a) Doing affirmations before you start your day and again when you are ending your day is an easy routine that creates great results. If you have problems during the day that put you on a negative level, do more affirmations. Problems that come up can be put to rest quickly if you use this method to keep your attitude in check. Using this tool during critical periods of doubt can help get you through. Each time you do affirmations, you re-focus your mind to boost your moral and keep you going positively.

b) Remembering all day long that what you believe, think and feel creates your reality. Keep in mind that you are using universal principles in the life success formula(described in success wisdom ebook) that will ALWAYS work if you follow through.

c) Making sure that you are sending the right vibration to attract the experience you desire. The best measurement of whether you are sending out the proper signals is to MONITOR YOUR EMOTIONS. If you're not feeling good, then you need to change your thoughts, because the emotions that are being felt indicate your thoughts are sending the wrong message. You can also do this by thinking of your goals, repeating your affirmations, or remembering a pleasant memory from the past that made you feel really good, or simply imagining event that makes you feel good or thinking about anything you feel grateful for. Then you are back on track again. Besides monitoring your negative thoughts, you should consciously create positive feelings and emotions of attainment of your desire

3. Drive is the power to continue to move forward from wishing to reaching the object of your desire. The power of the subconscious creates power to sustain your drive to do whatever it takes, to have what you want. That new car, better relationship, money or anything else doesn't happen without action. Wishing for something doesn't make it happen. After you wish for it, you need a plan of action. Following through with the plan, working towards the finish line is the final key to success.
