Aging or getting older is something we all will face someday in our lives. As we age our bodies starts to work less effectively. As the body declines, noticable aging signs appear including wrinkles, crows feet, weight gain, weight loss, cellulite, other visible effects. To reduce the aging signs we must take action to maintain our health as it was when we were younger.
Things to avoid: Don't go to bed immediately after exercise. Exercise will get you all pumped up and your heart rate will increase and you'll boost your metabolism. But then you will find it hard to get to sleep afterwards. Most forms of exercise work best done in the morning, since it boosts your metabolism and starts you off with spring in your step. When you get up why not do some form of exercise before you continue your daily routine. But if your schedule won't allow this maybe you have to get to work or something try and find time to fit some exercise in later during the day.
Don't try and push yourself to hard. Make sure to develop at your own pace don't expect to much at first. Listen to what your body is trying to tell you and you can do physically without feeling pain. Of course it's also fine to exercise during the evening just make sure you leave a couple of hours or so before going to bed. Maybe after a exercise routine take a hot bath to help you a feel more sleepy.
What stops you sleeping? Snoring is a common reason for not sleeping at night as you get older. Some times snoring may indicate other sleep problems such as sleep apnea. If you have snoring or other sleeping disorders seek advice from your doctor.

Suprisingly for some yoga can be very effective against stress and depression. Other methods include aromatherapy, hypnosis and even just listening to relaxing music.

When you consume the main food groups daily, you can maintain and protect your body by providing it with all the minerals, vitamins and other essential nutrients it needs. As you grow older you'll find that the nutrients, mineral and vitamin needs your body has will have changed. Speak to your doctor about a meal plan which is designed to help you stay healthy as you age.
