The Most Searched For Chicago Cars

Chris Roberts

In this 3rd installation in a series about The Top 10 Cars in metropolitan areas by Internet searches, I take a look at Chicago. You will find many of the same cars as you have seen in Los Angeles and Houston. However, the order has changed slightly. If your car is in the top 10, chances are that you are making a wise car-buying decision.

The top 10 searched for cars in Chicago are: 1. Chevrolet, 2. Ford, 3. Toyota, 4. BMW, 5. Nissan, 6. Mercedes Benz, 7. Dodge, 8. Honda, 9. Cadillac, and 10. Pontiac.

1. Chevrolet Chicago

Like in Houston, Chevrolet Chicago tops the list of Chicago cars. A little more than 340,000 people searched for Chevrolet Chicago. This is more than what was searched in either Los Angeles or Houston.

2. Chicago Ford

Following the trend of Houston, Ford Chicago comes in second. Approximately 247,000 people searched for Ford Chicago. Again, this is more than both Ford Los Angeles and Ford Houston.

3. Toyota Chicago

Toyota also follows the search pattern found in Houston. About 163,000 searches were performed for Toyota Chicago. This is more than Toyota Houston but less than Toyota Los Angeles.

4. BMW Chicago

This is where Houston and Chicago part ways. BMW Chicago was searched close to 155,000 times. This is more than BMW Houston but less than BMW Los Angeles.

5. Chicago Nissan

Coming in fifth is Nissan Chicago. This is better than both Nissan Los Angeles and Nissan Houston. Nearly 132,000 cyber tire kickers checked the Internet for Nissan Chicago.

6. Mercedes Benz Chicago

Sixth is Mercedes Benz Chicago. This ties Mercedes Benz Los Angeles, although in raw numbers Los Angeles wins. On the other hand, Mercedes Benz Chicago beat Mercedes Benz Houston with approximately 120,000 searches.

7. Dodge Chicago

Dodge Chicago equals Dodge Houston's seventh place finish. Roughly 114,000 searches were performed for Dodge Chicago. This is higher than both Dodge Houston and Dodge Los Angeles.

8. Honda Chicago

Surprisingly appearing in eighth place is Honda Chicago. Surprising not because it made the list but because it is so far down the list. More searches were performed for both Honda Los Angeles and Honda Houston. Just about 102,000 people looked for Honda Chicago on the Internet.

9. Chicago Cadillac

Number nine is Cadillac Chicago. Cadillac missed the Top 10 List in Los Angeles, but was number 10 in Houston. Cadillac Chicago received a little more than 100,000 searches.

10. Pontiac Chicago

Rounding out the list in tenth place is Pontiac Chicago. This is a first for Pontiac since it didn't make it onto either Los Angeles's or Houston's Top 10 Lists. Almost 90,000 searches were done on Pontiac Chicago.

So that's Chicago's Top 10 Car List. Did your car make the list? If it did, then chances are that you're searching for a good car. The majority tends to steer towards reliable cars.
