First off, you need to know what brand and model your digital camera is. If you’ve lost the instructions, the brand and model number should be right on the camera itself somewhere. If you have a digital camera over five years old, chances are you might not be able to find an adapter for it.
Although not all digital cameras will adapt to adapters, quite a lot of them will, especially ones made from 2002 onwards. EBay is always just a little bit risky, but not if you use common sense and a lot of patience. A lot of the bugs have been worked out of eBay over the years. Never buy from a seller that only lets you pay in a wire transfer, cash or cashier’s check. If possible, ask the seller questions about the camera lens adapter before you bid on it.
