If you were over 200 pounds, you did have to buy one that was thicker in order to get the great benefits that you need from it. If you weigh more than 250, you have to get on that is even thicker. You do want to pay attention to the recommendations because the foam mattress pads will sink under you, and you want one that will work, not one that turns into a pancake. You won’t get any comfort from that.
You can find foam mattress pads on eBay, or you can look in almost any store in your area that sells bedding and home products. You might find a better price at one place over another, so it does pay to shop around to find what you are looking for. Though not all foam mattress pads will be the same, they do have the same properties. If you really want to the comfort that they advertise however, you should look for a good name brand before you buy. There are imitations that will not work as well.
